There have been major developments in Bollywood from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s landing in controversy over workers’ safety, Zeenat Aman’s bold confession, to Kangana Ranaut wrapping Queen 2 shooting.
1) Sanjay Leela Bhansali Lands In Controversy For Workers’ Safety On His Set
Following the death of Chandrabhan Singh Yadav, the carpenter on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, the producer has landed in big trouble as All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has now sought legal action against him, alleging inadequate safety measures on Bhansali’s set, which led to the demise of the worker.

AICWA president called the incident a murder and said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a big producer with big actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, who charge 100 crore or 50 crore, but on his set, a worker, Chandrabhan, who was a carpenter, died, and this happened due to a lack of safety measures. He also said the worker wasn’t alone, but he had a whole family—his wife and two children. And the incident took place because there were no safety norms, or else he would have been saved.
Also, the president shared that this is not the first time, but earlier in 2000, on the sets of Devdas, a worker died; then, in 2001, another worker died; then, in 2016, on the Padmavat set, a worker died; and now, in 2026, on the Love & War set, a worker died. Now the association is demanding higher compensation.
2) Zeenat Aman Makes Bold Confession On Her Career
Zeenat, in a conversation with Shubra Aiyappa for the YouTube channel video, talked about her acting journey, her survival in Bollywood, and how she was stuck with the sex symbol image. The actress shared that the ‘sex symbol’ image stayed with her for a long time. And people would realize that she wasn’t what she portrayed on-screen when they met her. She also revealed that no one was interested in her being cerebral, as they were only interested in her singing, dancing, a couple of dialogues, and some rain scenes. Not just that, but what people expected from her was not modest, though she always stayed modest. She opened up that there were times when people wanted more cleavage, back showing, etc., from the production house.

3) Dia Mirza Faces Backlash After Her Son Schooled A Delivery Boy
Dia Mirza recently shared a story of her 5-year-old son Avyaan saying, “The coconut wala delivered the coconut, and nothing burns my blood more than coconut water arriving in plastic bags with plastic straws. So this boy, bichara, he didn’t know whom he was delivering to. So Avyaan opens the door, and he puts his hand on his hips and says, Bhaiya plastic mein lekar aaye ho, hamare ghar mein plastic not allowed, aap usko plastic se nikalo, usko neeche rakho aur plastic aur straw leke jao.”
However, fans didn’t find this right and trolled the actress for her young son Avyaan’s behavior, highlighting the rudeness in the way he talked to someone who was providing a service in scorching heat.
