Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone might be two of the biggest stars in the country right now. However, as far as box office success is concerned ladies and gentlemen, 2022 has indeed been a very flat year for both. Ranveer in particular has failed to pick up pace in cinemas as movies like 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar earlier didn’t do him any good. After all the past debacles, he might have hoped for a good ending to the year with ‘Cirkus’. However, as far as box office collections and word of mouth till end of day 2 is concerned, it doesn’t look very favorable for him.
The movie didn’t have a good start at all in the first place as it managed to earn just 6.25 crores on day 1. On day 2 which was a Saturday, the movie earned around 6.40 crores thereby taking the total collection to just Rs 12.65 crores on day 2. With 25th December (Sunday) being Christmas as well, here’s hoping that the numbers get better.
