Farhan Akhtar is one of the most dynamic and versatile personalities of the Hindi entertainment industry. Be it singing, dancing, acting, or direction, Farhan has proven his credentials in literally every department associated with the entertainment industry. He’s all set to entertain his fans next in the movie Toofaan.

Today, the trailer of the movie came out, and ever since then, Farhan has been receiving compliments and good wishes from all over the country. People are absolutely in awe of his chiseled well-sculpted physique and hence the curiosity around his fitness is quite natural. During a recently held round-table chat, when we at IWMBuzz asked Farhan about the physical training side of the training procedure, he was quoted as saying,

“Well, I have never done boxing in my entire life and hence for me, it was all about starting from the scratches. What we see of boxing on TV or in movies is very glamourous. But the kind of effort it takes to actually go 3 mins in one round and with a minute break is unimaginable. They make it look easy. But when you actually do it, you realize how long 3 mins can be and also how short 1 minute is when you get to rest. (laughs) It’s demanding of your strength, endurance, and thinking capabilities. Boxing is like a game of chess. You don’t know what the other person is going to do and hence you need to be on your toes all the time. So I can say it was absolutely amazing to do all that and I can happily say that boxing has become a part of my regular fitness routine. I love it.”
