Candace Cameron reminiscing about her time at the show.

During a recent interview with People on Friday, September 17, Candace Cameron Bure commented on her stint as a co-host of The View. The 45-year-old actress talked about her experience on the talk show Classic, which is celebrating its 25th season this year. The actress stated that she would be pleased to return as a guest host, but that she does not desire a perpetual seat at the table.

The actress claimed she loved her time on the show and the people she worked with, but that the work itself was demanding. “My time at The View was thrilling, demanding, interesting, emotional, and difficult all at the same time.” “It was one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever had,” she told People, “but I was really grateful for the opportunity to sit at the table with such talented, knowledgeable, and capable women.” “I also built long-lasting off-camera relationships with show producers, crew, performers, and guests, for which I am eternally grateful.”

Candace was on the show from 2015 to 2016, and she mentioned that she had anticipated some of the issues to be milder than they were due to the 2016 election. “The show was supposed to trend towards more timeless issues and less about politics when I was asked to join the table,” she remarked. “Welcome, Donald Trump to the presidential election.” “It completely transformed my life.”

Candace found the sudden shift to exclusively political themes exhausting, especially because she commuted between New York City and Los Angeles every weekend. “It was as if I were back in school, completing 4-5 hours of homework every night.” “It was draining,” the Fuller House actress admitted. “On top of that, I was flying back and forth from Los Angeles to New York every week to spend weekends with my family.” “I’m astonished I was able to stick to my schedule for so long.”

Regardless of the fact that the programme was a great deal of work, Candace reminisced on some of her favorite moments from it, including her 40th birthday and getting to spend some time off-camera with Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar. “We had a lot of good times together,” she remarked.
