Check out the first look of Janhvi Kapoor in Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl

Enchanting beauty Janhvi Kapoor, who made an impressive debut in Bollywood with Dhadak, will be seen essaying on celluloid, the role of India’s first-ever female combat aviator. Jhanvi will play Gunjan Saxena, who was posted in Kargil during the 1999 war. Gunjan was also the first woman to be awarded the Shaurya Chakra.

Directed by Sharan Sharma, the biopic will also star Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles. The film will release on 13 March 2020.

Meanwhile, Janhvi has also signed Karan Johar’s Takht. It will see Ranveer Singh play Dara Shikoh, while Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the role of Aurangzeb. It will a multi-starrer featuring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Alia, Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky, among others.
