Early estimates place the film’s Day 11 earnings at ₹1.5 to ₹1.75 crore, a figure that reflects the usual Monday correction while keeping the film afloat in its ongoing run.
The fall was expected, especially considering the film’s Sunday performance, which had touched a healthy figure owing to stronger turnout in metros and premium multiplex chains. However, weekday footfalls tend to favor only the most strongly performing titles, and De De Pyaar De 2—despite its appeal among urban audiences—has been navigating a mixed response from Tier-2 and mass circuits. This uneven distribution of audience interest is now more apparent as the film settles into the slower second week.
At this stage, the film’s cumulative domestic total is inching toward the mid-60-crore mark, positioning it for a lifetime finish that is likely to settle in the ₹70–75 crore net range. While not a runaway blockbuster, the performance is respectable given competing releases, reduced screens in the second week, and the film’s genre, which typically relies more on word of mouth than mass-market frenzy.
The second Monday collection also sheds light on how the film may fare through the remaining weekdays. If the current trajectory holds, the numbers are expected to hover around the ₹1 crore mark through Days 12 to 14, allowing the film to end Week 2 on a stable—if not spectacular—note. What remains crucial is whether the film can retain enough shows heading into Week 3, especially as new titles line up for release.
Overseas, the film has continued to show steady receipts. The Monday dip is neither surprising nor alarming, but it underscores the need for consistent weekday numbers if the film aims to extend its theatrical run and finish on a stronger note.
