After experiencing the typical Monday dip, the film’s Day 12 performance has settled into a predictable weekday rhythm. The collections may not be soaring, but they remain steady enough to keep the film on track for a respectable lifetime total.
As per early trade estimates, the film has brought in ₹1.25 to ₹1.40 crore on Day 12, a number that aligns with the downward trend seen after the second weekend. Since the film had already eased into a slow pace on Monday, Tuesday’s earnings were expected to remain in the same vicinity. While the drop from the second weekend is visible, the film’s hold is still decent, given its genre and competition at the box office.
The morning and afternoon shows on Day 12 witnessed a moderate turnout, similar to Day 11. Multiplexes in metro cities remained the strongest contributors, especially in pockets of Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Bengaluru. These areas have been consistently carrying the film since its release, thanks mainly to their preference for light-hearted urban entertainers. Tier-2 circuits and mass belts, on the other hand, continued to exhibit only average occupancy, which has been the case right from the start.
Evening shows saw a slight improvement, helping the film maintain a stable daily total. While the growth wasn’t dramatic, the footfall was enough to keep the film from dropping to uncomfortable levels. For a romantic-comedy family entertainer in its second Tuesday, this is more or less the trajectory that trade analysts had projected.
With the Day 12 numbers included, the film’s domestic total is now moving closer to the ₹62–63 crore range, inching steadily toward the mid-60s. This positions the movie comfortably for a lifetime figure in the ₹70–75 crore net bracket, provided the film maintains its hold throughout the workweek. It retains decent show counts heading into the third weekend.
What has helped De De Pyaar De 2 throughout its run is its appeal to a specific segment of the audience that enjoys breezy, feel-good stories without expecting high-octane spectacle.
