According to a report by The Indian Express, the film has already crossed the Rs 330 crore mark at the worldwide box office. After a phenomenal opening day collection of over Rs 240 crore globally, the film maintained strong momentum on Day 2 as well.
On its second day, Dhurandhar 2 earned approximately Rs 96.76 crore at the India net box office. A major share of this collection came from the Hindi version, which continues to dominate across key circuits. With this, the film’s total India net collection now stands at around Rs 226.27 crore, putting it among the fastest-grossing films in recent times.
Industry reactions have also been overwhelmingly positive. Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan praised director Aditya Dhar’s vision, stating that he has “started a new era in filmmaking.” Such endorsements have further added to the buzz around the film.
With a current India total of Rs 226.27 crore, Dhurandhar 2 now needs approximately Rs 128 crore more to challenge the record for the highest opening weekend collection in India.
