Alpha teaser introduced Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol’s character Shiv and Sita as father and daughter. In the teaser, one can see Bobby Deol training Alia for a special mission, and once she turns 18, he gives her the first task of killing. The teaser featured Alia, Bobby, and a young actress who portrayed Alia’s character’s younger version. But one did not get even a single glimpse of Sharvari, and this didn’t go well with viewers.
Netizens instantly questioned Sharvari’s absence, with many claiming that Alia is a favorite so she is given the spotlight, while others are saying that it’s nepotism; many claimed they are sidelining Sharvari while questioning why Sharvari isn’t part of the teaser though she is regarded as one of the leads in the film.
Similarly, many didn’t like the teaser, citing that Alia didn’t fit in the role, while others said that the clip didn’t generate any excitement.
In addition, a section of the internet even started comparing Alpha with Dhurandhar, mentioning how the whole of Bollywood is supporting the film, but these people were silent when the super hit Dhurandhar was making waves.
