Sudeep Sarangi, popularly known for his role as Aadhi in the 2003 Dhanush-starrer Tamil film Kaadhal Kondein, will be back on Tamil screens after 23 years. He will make a comeback in Harish Kalyan’s upcoming film, Dashamakan, directed by Vineeth Varaprasad, who is known for his earlier film Lift.
Recently, a special event was held for the film’s first look launch, where Harish Kalyan expressed his happiness of playing a rapper in the movie. The film is set in an area of Chennai city, known for its delicious non-vegetarian food, and this explains the unique title of the film, Dashamakan.
The film, starring Harish Kalyan in the lead, has Preity Mukundhan as the female lead. Sathyaraj and Sunil play vital roles.
News that IWMBuzz.com has, is that Sudeep Sarangi will make a big-bang return to the Tamil industry with this film.
As per a reliable source, “After his path-breaking hit with Kaadhal Kondein years back, Sudeep will be seen again after many years. In Dashamakan, he will play a role that will do justice to his acting calibre.”
We buzzed Sudeep but did not reach him. Sudeep, who started his career in Tamil films, has featured in strong roles in Hindi TV shows, Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo, Prithviraj Chauhan, Durga aur Charu, etc.
Dashamakan will be a milestone for Harish Kalyan, with it being his 15th film. Harish Kalyan was hugely appreciated for his latest films Parking and Lubber Pandhu. Vineeth Varaprasad, Director and screenwriter, was appreciated for his first directorial venture, Lift, starring Kavin.
