Versatile actor Arif Zakaria, who is known for his exceptional work in projects like My Name is Khan, Jism 2, Lootera, Raazi and Krrish 3, has bagged a new movie. As per a credible source, Arif is roped in for Mumbai’s leg-spinner Pravin Tambe’s biopic.

As per reports in media, Tambe’s role will be played by Shreyas Talpade, whose Bollywood debut Iqbal coincidentally had a cricket-based plot. Talpade has been shooting in Thane along with Ashish Vidyarthi.

The 50-year-old has had a remarkable journey as a cricketer. In 2012, the then 41-year-old Tambe was picked by the Mumbai team for the Vijay Hazare tournament. A few months later, the Rahul Dravid-led Rajasthan Royals IPL team hired his services. Soon he became the face for one of sport’s most common saying: ‘age is just a number.’

We buzzed Arif but could not get a response.
