Actress Shivika Rishi has had a good body of work, with challenging portrayals in the TV, OTT space and films. She has been part of projects like Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Gaslight, Khichdi 2-Mission Paanthukistan etc. She now awaits the release of her big banner film, Munjya which is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The film starring Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Sathyaraj and others will be a spooky yet hilarious adventure-filled horror-comedy film. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.

The trailer of Munjya has intrigued viewers with an eerie atmosphere filled with supernatural phenomena and comedic elements. The story follows a diverse group of characters who find themselves entangled in a series of bizarre and spooky events. From unexplained occurrences to moments of sheer hilarity, Munjya promises a rollercoaster of emotions, ensuring audiences remain engaged and entertained throughout.

We hear that Shivika will be seen playing the younger version of Sharvari Wagh, the protagonist of the film.

The actress is excited about the project and looks forward to Munjya hitting the theatres on 7 June, 2024.

We buzzed the actress but did not get through to her.

For the uninitiated, this theme, based on the story by Yogesh Chandekar, has never been attempted before in Hindi film landscape. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and written (dialogue and screenplay) by Niren Bhatt, Munjya is a tale all the way from the mysterious and marvellous Konkan coast. The rich visuals only add extravagance and eeriness to a story that deserves to be seen. And the eponymous hero is India’s first CGI central character.
