Farhad Samji, the well-known writer-director, in a recent interview, opened up about the film Welcome To The Jungle, highlighting the ambitious vision of the producer Firoz Nadiadwala. He shared that the producer wanted to make it even bigger by featuring all the stellar actors, as that would be the USP (Unique Selling Proposition).

During a chat with Siddharth Kannan for his YouTube podcast, when asked about the challenges of managing 35 actors all at once despite their fallouts of many in real life, like the news of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal’s fallout buzz and handling their egos, Farhad shared, “As per my knowledge, our first schedule of Welcome, we had a proper schedule in place initially. For the first schedule, we secured the dates of all 35 actors in combination and completed the shoot smoothly.”

He further added, “Later, when the schedule got pushed around, it became difficult, and the problem was we couldn’t manage dates because we couldn’t get everyone’s combination dates. And obviously, like Paresh bhai, Rajpal, and several others were doing five to ten films, so it was very tough to get a combination date.”

Farhad concluded that he doesn’t know about the fallout or the actors’ egos, but it also took time because we wanted everyone in the frame, and the real struggle was getting the combination dates.

Produced by Base Industries Group in association with Seeta Films, Cape of Good Films, and AA Films, Welcome To The Jungle is directed by Ahmed Khan and stars 35 actors, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandes, and others.
