Ramayana, one of the much-awaited cinematic retellings of the ancient Indian epic, is a film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor in the central role of Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana, and has been creating buzz lately. As per the latest media reports, the makers of the film are gearing up for a major promotional reveal.
The reports suggest that the makers are planning a big event for the film, and to make the first glimpse unveiling event even more special, they plan to hold it on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami in March 2026. The event will mark the unveiling of its characters’ first looks.
In addition, the big event is scheduled to take place at the Gateway of India on March 27, 2026. Also, the reports reveal that the director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra have begun sending invites for the big launch. However, there are still doubts about which members of the film’s starcast will join the event, but the lead characters played by Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey, and Yash are likely to appear.
What’s interesting is that this event will become even more special, as reports suggest several senior leaders from the state and central governments will also be invited as guests. Also, the main character Ranbir Kapoor’s whole family is invited, and they are likely to attend the function.
Ramayana, the epic mythological drama, is scheduled to hit the screens on Diwali 2026. Based on the Hindu epic, the Valmiki Ramayana, the film also stars Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman.
