In the forthcoming Tamil action thriller Enemy directed by Anand Shankar(a former assistant to Siddharth Anand) two of the brightest young actors of Tamil cinema Vishal Krishna and Arya get together to play antagonists who will go to the end of the world to finish off one another.

The interesting aspect of this ferocious face-off is the fact that Vishal and Arya are best friends for life.

Says Vishal, “Arya is a brother from another mother. I know long-lasting friendships in show-business are rare. I guess we are the exceptions. We have been close friends forever. We are inseparable. And now we are working together for the first time. It feels strange to have Arya gunning for me on screen. But then that’s what acting is about.”

Aarya, basking in the super-success of Sarpatta Parambarai, says it’s fun to chase his friend down to a climactic battle in Enemy. “Vishal and I have been friends for 25 years.I play the antagonist in Enemy. The equation between us in Enemy is like the one between Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in War. I enjoy playing the villain. It gives me the chance to do all those things that I can’t do in real life.”
