Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 box office collection Day 6 update
According to Sacnilk, on Day 6, Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 collected a net of ₹0.09 crore in India across 591 shows. This marks a slight drop from Day 5’s ₹0.10 crore, continuing the weekday downward trend as footfall remains low.
The overall trend over the past few days reflects a gradual slowdown. The film collected ₹0.38 crore on Day 3, then dipped to ₹0.10 crore on Day 5, and is now at ₹0.09 crore on Day 6. The decline in show count from 630 to 591 further indicates reduced demand and limited audience traction in theatres.
Despite the slow pace, the film has managed to add marginally to its total. The India net collection now stands at ₹1.52 crore, up only slightly from ₹1.43 crore after Day 5. The growth remains minimal, suggesting that the film is yet to gain momentum through word of mouth.
The romantic comedy, directed by Prasshant Jha and backed by Zee Studios along with Soundrya Production, had a decent release scale initially. However, it has not been able to translate that into strong box office numbers so far.
Updated box office totals after Day 6
With the latest figures, the film’s collections have been updated. The India net collection stands at ₹1.52 crore, while the India gross has reached ₹1.79 crore. Overseas earnings remain at ₹0.00 crore, taking the worldwide gross total to ₹1.79 crore.
Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 is still in its early run, but the coming days will be crucial. A strong turnaround through positive word of mouth will be necessary if the film hopes to improve its performance and see any significant jump in collections.
