Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 box office collection Day 8 update
According to Sacnilk, the film continues to record low box-office numbers, with only slight growth visible as it moves past the opening week. The overall trend indicates that, despite entering a new phase of its theatrical run, the film has not generated the momentum needed for a noticeable jump in collections.
The day-wise trend so far reflects a gradual dip followed by a very modest hold. After collecting ₹0.38 crore on Day 3, the film dropped to ₹0.10 crore on Day 5 and ₹0.09 crore on Day 6, indicating a steady decline during weekdays. While minor fluctuations are expected around the weekend, the overall pace remains slow.
The show count has also decreased compared to the initial days, pointing to decreased demand and limited footfall in theatres. The film is yet to benefit from strong word of mouth, which is crucial at this stage to boost collections.
Directed by Prasshant Jha and backed by Zee Studios and Soundrya Production, the film had a decent release scale but has not translated that into significant box-office returns so far.
Updated box office totals after Day 8
Given current trends, the film’s cumulative performance remains on the lower side. Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 has achieved worldwide collections of ₹1.82 crore, with India gross contributing ₹1.82 crore and no overseas earnings reported so far. The India net collection stands at ₹1.55 crore across 5,707 shows.
As the film moves ahead, the coming days will be crucial in determining its trajectory. A noticeable improvement in collections, driven by audience response, will be essential if it aims to sustain its theatrical run and register better numbers.
