Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Box Office Collection Day 8: Varun Dhawan starrer continues to perform well at the box office and now enters the second week on a decent note. After a good run in the first week, on its day 8 (Second Friday), the film made a net business of 1.85 crore, which is lower than the day 7 earnings but still stable given the new releases and second-week entry.
However, the film saw a good run over the first week, opening with 12.7 crore gross on day 1, and collections rose over the first weekend, earning 13.99 crore gross on Saturday and 15.3 crore gross on Sunday. First Monday (day 4) saw a big drop yet managed to earn 5.57 crore gross, and first Tuesday earned 6.43 crore gross.
In the first five days, the collection neared 50 crore worldwide, at 47.56 crore. On day 6, the film earned 4.93 crore worldwide, and on day 7 it collected 4 crore, bringing the worldwide gross to 62.92 crore. In contrast, in the first seven days, the net India collection was at 43.53 crore.
At the current pace, the film is likely to do well in the second week, which may take the worldwide gross to 70 or 75 crore total.
