Hrithik Roshan has officially put an end to swirling rumours about his involvement in Don 3, firmly denying any association with the project. The statement which Roshan issued on February 13 2026, showed that he was never approached by the makers at any point. The clarification comes amid heightened drama surrounding the film, following reports that Ranveer Singh, who was initially cast as the lead, had exited the project due to creative differences and dissatisfaction with the script.

The production house behind Don 3, which Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani lead, experienced intense rumour-mongering after reports emerged of a conflict between Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment, the production house backing the project. Excel Entertainment claims that Singh must pay them ₹40 crore because they lost money during pre-production. This financial dispute has added another layer of complexity to the situation.

Hrithik Roshan has told Variety India, “What started off as just a rumour has now taken a life of its own, and it’s important to set the record straight. I would like to categorically clarify that I was never approached for ‘Don 3’ at any given time. I request the media to steer clear of any such unverified reports.”

Some media reports claimed that Singh accused the producers of approaching Hrithik Roshan when his other films underperformed because they wanted to replace him as the lead. The allegations are completely refuted by Roshan’s direct statement, which provides essential clarification of the controversy. The actor stated that he has no connection to Don 3 and that any reports suggesting otherwise are entirely baseless.
