A few days ago, we heard the news of Deepika Padukone visiting JNU campus which created a huge controversy. From calls of burning down Chhapaak posters to pressure of boycotting her film, certain political leaders have done it all.
But all this seems to have gone in vain as fans of Deepika are certainly going to watch the movie and the advance booking statistics suggest the same.
Many have said different things about Deepika. Some called it a publicity stunt whereas some called it an unconditional effort towards showing solidarity with the students.
Yesterday, Deepika held a special screening of her film Chhapaak where the who’s who of the industry came and saw the sceeening. Deepika’s hubby Ranveer was also present at the screening and with his latest Instagram post dedicated to Deepika and the director Meghna Gulzar, we can certainly say that he’s simply loved.
