Farah Khan, for her latest celebrity home-tour vlog, arrived at late actor Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, and wife Sutapa’s residence. Talking about the old days and her friendship with Sutapa Sikdar, Farah recalled a time when they shared a room at a government hostel. At the time, Sutapa was working as a costume designer, while Irrfan was still a struggling actor.
Farah also made a key revelation: Sutapa used to give Irrfan pocket money, noting that she was “investing in his dreams.” Babil fondly agreed, adding, “Dad used to take money from Mom during his NSD (National School of Drama) days.”
Reflecting on the teachings and lessons he has learned from his father, Babil emphasized the invaluable life lessons he inherited. The Qala actor said that he has never seen anyone stick to their values as courageously as his father did, regardless of the circumstances. Bound by mutual admiration for the late icon, both Babil and Farah remembered Irrfan Khan as a truly rare soul.
Son of legendary Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, Babil Khan began his career as a camera assistant. Later, he made his acting debut in Hindi cinema with Qala (2022) and also starred in the miniseries The Railway Men (2023).
