Rumors miled recently after a video started circulating of Sorab Bedi with Malaika Arora, sparking dating rumors. It all started with a video that went viral from a party where Sorab and Malaika were seen dancing and enjoying a celebration together, which led to curiosity among fans, fueling dating rumors.
Also, photos of Malaika and Sorab circulated on the internet from the party where the duo hugged each other, and their big smiles showcased the kind of bond they share with each other. Reportedly, it was the launch party of Malaika’s new restaurant, Sweeney.
Reacting to these rumors of dating, Sorab, in an interview with Zoom, issues a clarification, opening up on his friendship with the Bollywood actress. Sorab shared that he met Malaika at an event as a mentor, and there she became friends with her. But he emphasized that there is nothing between the two.
Sorab Bedi said, “Delnaz Daruwala and Vahbiz Mehta gave me a chance to walk the ramp during my modelling days. I became friends with them and started going out to parties. At one of the parties, I met Malaika through my mentors. She is also a close friend of Delnaz and Vahbiz. Hence, Malaika and I became friends. There is nothing between us.”
He further expressed his disappointment, “People are talking several things about us. They should think twice before speaking about a girl. It could affect her mental state. Aisa karna nahin chahiye (They shouldn’t do it).”
And Sorab concluded sharing his friendship with Malaika, he said, ” I have been partying with Vahbiz, Delnaz, and Malaika for many years. I earlier used to share pictures with Malaika, but at that time, I was not a known face. Now, I am a known face; hence, it is now being noticed by people. I have shared such videos and photos before as well. Two people can be friends. We trust each other, but people took it differently.”
