Eventually, it was Johnny who had the last laugh as the jury ruled the decision in his favour. While Amber Heard was offered $2M as damages, Johnny was offered $15M as damages in the case. This verdict came after the jury ruled that both of them were apparently defamed in the case.
And now, the latest reports in India Today suggest that Johnny Depp celebrated the win in grand style with his good friend and guitarist, Jeff Beck. Reports reveal that he splurged as many as 49 lakhs at an Indian restaurant at Birmingham, UK. The duo enjoyed a curry in Birmingham and racked up a huge £50,000 (almost Rs 49 lakh) according to reports in The Daily Mail. They enjoyed a selection of Indian dishes, cocktails and Rosé champagne. Reports reveal that the 49 lakhs combines of the entire cost of food and drinks plus a huge tip that he left for the starstruck waiters.
