Kaantha Box Office Collection Day 3: The period thriller drama film starring Dulquer Salmaan, Samuthirakani, Bhagyashri Borse, and Rana Daggubati is going strong at the box office on its first weekend. With its intriguing storyline and positive word of mouth, the film has crossed the 13 crore mark in just three days of release.
On the opening day, the film earned an impressive 4.35 crore, marking its good start. On its first weekend, the film earned 5 crore, with a slight rise in collections. However, the expectations were high on Sunday (Day 3), but the film saw a dip, earning 4.5 crore. With all three days’ collection, the total of the film has crossed the 13 crore mark, standing at 13.85 crore.
Kaantha is directed by Selvamanu Selvaraj and is based on the life of M.K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar; however, the makers later shared that it is a fiction film. The film is jointly produced by the lead actors Dulquer Salmaan and Rana Daggubati under their banners Media and Wayfarer Films. Kaantha was released on November 14, 2025 – Children’s Day.
If the film continues to prove its charm at the box office in the coming days, it’s likely to cross the 30- and 40-crore mark. At present, its next target is the 20 crore mark.
