Actress Kamya Punjabi, in a recent interview with podcaster Siddharth Kannan, addressed her defense of Kushal Tandon during Alliance, her criticism of Shivangi Joshi, Akanksha Chamola, and Gaurav Khanna’s buzz, and more.
Defending Kushal Tandon During Alliance Appearance
Kamya, siding with Kushal, said she doesn’t think he was wrong because what he did was upfront. She emphasized that Kushal said on the face whatever he felt, whether about Vansh or Dolly. Kamya also mentioned that Kushal had just expressed himself, and that if people were following him, they did so as they wanted.
Criticizing Shivangi Joshi For Taking Kushal’s Name During Lock Upp
Kamya shared that she doesn’t know whether Shivangi did it on purpose, but she called her out for taking his name repeatedly. She revealed that sometimes Shivangi took his name, and sometimes others picked it. Kamya revealed that during the clock task, Shivangi said, ‘The clock is acting like her ex’. The Shakti actress aggressively asked whether taking Kushal’s name was necessary, since he wasn’t there to defend himself. She also emphasized that she will stand by the people who matter to her.
On Shreya Kalra And Kushal’s DM Drama
Kamya shared she thinks it’s between Shreya and Kushal, and they should sort it out and clear it. She also emphasized that showing the screenshots and all in the media is cheap, so she thinks they should get over it.
On Akanksha Chamola Not Wanting Media To Ask Questions About Gaurav Khanna
Kamya expressed her thoughts, saying that if Akanksha didn’t want people to talk about certain things, she shouldn’t have said them on the show itself. Because once you say something in a reality show, the audience has the right to talk about it. She called all these things “acting” and even called them “fake”.
Calling Out Mallika Sherawat For Bringing Up Rhea Chakraborty’s Jail Term And Her Comments
When asked whether reality shows focus on dragging contestants and how much you can demean others. Kamya agreed with the statement and shared that it’s in one’s hands how low one wants to take one’s character in that case. Calling Mallika’s statement very cheap, she emphasized that dragging someone’s past trauma isn’t fun.
On Actresses Secretly Competing Against Each Other
Kamya nodded, saying that actresses do compete against each other. She also shared that some actresses stand tall for others. But she also emphasized that the leading heroine often feels insecure about how the villain gets more scenes, etc.
