Kannada actress Divya Suresh Rao, who is popularly known for her Bigg Boss Kannada stint, has made a shocking revelation about her recent experience of harassment in Bengaluru.
The actress on her social media handle expressed her agitation over the traumatic incident and also pointed out the concerns over women’s safety in the town. The 33-year-old actress shared that she was walking towards her car with her cousin when an unidentified man allegedly started touching himself inappropriately and began following them.
Divya confronted the person, but he continued his shameful act until the actress and her cousin got inside the car. A short clip of the same is going viral on the internet, where the person is reportedly seen touching his lower body part, making obscene gestures.
On her social media, the actress wrote, “Tonight, my cousin and I were walking to our car at around 11.30 pm when a man started following us. While following us, he was openly touching himself. We noticed it immediately and called him out, but he still didn’t stop. He continued until we got into our car.”

She also added that no woman should face such harassment just because she is walking alone at night. And even questioned the safety that is often promised.
And now the actress thanked all who helped her, messaged her, and encouraged women’s safety, “A heartfelt thanks to media, my friends, and my family who have reached out, checked on me, shared my story, and stood by me.
and everyone who helped amplify my voice -I’m truly grateful. Your support meant more than you know.
I’m safe, and this issue is now sorted. Thank you once again for all the love and concern. It means the world.
