Rishabh Shetty starrer ‘Kantara’ is one of the most popular and admired movies of this year. The movie that started doing wonders in the regional Kannada entertainment industry has eventually become a humongous success all over the country and no wonder, it managed to do the kind of numbers it did. The movie grossed 400 crores worldwide recently and no wonder, everything has been absolutely on point and in the true sense of the term for real.

So, what’s the latest media update that we get to hear from their end? As per the latest media reports in Udayavani, a Kerala High court has lifted the ‘Varaha Roopam’ song from Kantara. Kerala-based music band Thaikkudam Bridge had accused the Kantara team of plagiarism. They earlier pointed out that the song Varaha Roopam from Kantara is a copy of their song, Navarasam. The court had earlier ruled in favor of the Thaikudam bridge and had imposed an interim injunction against the song.

However, on Friday, the court dismissed the plea citing a lack of jurisdiction.
