Actress Koena Mitra recently made headlines because of the remake version of the song, ‘O Saki Saki’. Not only did she lash out at the makers of the song for the poor version, but she also called the music directors lazy for surviving on remake versions now.
But now, Koena seems to be at the receiving end of things with respect to trouble. A case of fraud has been registered against her for an alleged incident of check-bouncing.
A model named Poonam Sethi has complained that Koena was to pay her a sum of 4.64 lakhs including an interest amount of 1.64 lakhs but failed to do so, as she went ahead with a failed bounced cheque. Although Poonam had filed the case way back in 2013, Koena has been in denial mode and has said that she will challenge the decision forward. Koena has put forward a counter allegation saying that it was Poonam who was financially not stable to pay her expenses and hence she stole her cheques.
Now it is only a matter of time before it is proved who is telling the truth and who is going about telling a lie.
