Kunal Verma joins Abhishek Bachchan in Bob Biswas

Young actor Kunal Verma, who enthralled audience in TV shows like Tujh Sang Preet Lagai SajnaDil Se Dil Tak, has bagged a big-budget web-film.

IWMBuzz.com exclusively learnt that the actor will be part of the upcoming Netflix film Bob Biswas starring Abhishek Bachchan.

Directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh, Bob Biswas is touted to be a spin-off from Sujoy Ghosh’s hit, Kahaani. One of the most mysterious characters in the movie was named Bob Biswas, a cold-blooded murderer.

Produced by Gauri Khan, Sujoy Ghosh and Gaurav Verma, Bob Biswas is a Bound Script production presented by Red Chillies Entertainment.

We reached out to Kunal but did not get any revert.

Later Kunal replied and said, “I am playing a primary character in the film and very happy to have bagged this role. Abhishek (Bachchan) Bhai, Sujoy sir, Diya and the whole team of Bob Biswas is truly amazing and the best to work with. I am looking forward and need best wishes. Although, it is a small but primary role as it is big for me.”
