Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu who turns 46 today August 9, is not celebrating his birthday this year.
“His brother Ramesh Babu passed away recently and Mahesh is in mourning. He has taken his brother’s death very badly. Mahesh was very close to Ramesh. They grew up together and Mahesh frequently sought Ramesh’s advice on professional and family matters. His going has been a big blow to Mahesh,” a family member reveals.
Apparently Mahesh Babu is not in the mood for any celebration. However his children Gautham and Sitara insisted that he cut a cake .
“The family had a dinner together. But no party and no celebration. Mahesh was in a script session till late in the evening before his birthday.He is now prepping for his next, which will be S S Rajamouli’s film,” says the source.
