Main Vaapas Aaunga Box Office Collection Day 7: Imtiaz Ali-directed film continues to perform well in its first week at the box office. However, on Day 7, the film witnessed a big jump in collections, with improved earnings helping the worldwide total cross the 21 crore mark.
Starring Diljit Dosanjh, the period romance drama, due to positive word of mouth, growing interest, and the amazing performances by the stars, is actively drawing viewers to theatres, with viewership on an upward trajectory even on weekdays. The markets are high on weekdays, and on day 7 (First Thursday), the film collected an impressive 2.20 crore, the second-highest single-day haul, with the first being day 3 (First Sunday), when the film earned 2.50 crore.
The film, also starring Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina and Sharvari, maintains a healthy pace and leads the league with multiple releases. The positive trend over the seventh day helps the film cross the 21 crore mark in worldwide gross, standing at 21.85 crore, of which overseas the film collected 0.50 crore on day 7, which takes the overseas gross to 7.25 crore.
In contrast, the net India collection has reached 12.25 crore, while the gross collection is at 14.60 crore. And now, whether the film will hit the 30 crore mark depends on its second-week performance.
