Deadly as she has always been! Shivani Shivaji Roy, the supercop, is back in action. We see her right in the chase—and this time, her fight is not with a man—it is with another woman, Amma (Mallika Prasad). As they say, women can sometimes be the strongest enforcers of patriarchy itself. The third instalment just affirms it—but Shivani Shivaji Roy is on an empowering oath like always, to hunt Amma down, and punish her with no mercy, for exploiting underage girls.
Yash Raj Films shared the trailer all across. It stated, “It is a race against time & there will be no mercy. Shivani Shivaji Roy is back to rescue girls who go missing without a trace. Mardaani 3 Trailer out now. #Mardaani3 releasing only in cinemas near you on 30th Jan.”
The trailer begins with a little girl screaming in distress as she gets violently abducted. What unfolds is tragic—in a country that worships women as goddesses, witnesses a scary series of girls going missing. Shivani Shivaji Roy takes over the case. We see glimpses of Amma; she embodies what every woman and man will fear—eyes that release an evilish hypnotic fury—trying to lure girls into the desire of the sea. Amma lingers on her atrocities, until now—as Shivani steps in. Shivani is not intimidated by Amma’s presence; she is all set to challenge her and toss her down.
