‘Matrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’ — Chand Dekh Lena — emerges as a heartfelt ode to the enduring power of love that transcends all distances. Matrubhumi, Salman Khan’s upcoming war drama slated for an August release, bloomed with emotions and evocative dreamy imagery in the song teaser Chand Dekh Lena—capturing the very ache of separation and the strength that binds your beloved even when miles apart.
We find Chitrangada (portraying the Colonel’s wife) clad in a saree, lost in thought of her beloved, gaze distant—the sequence looks dreamy, stirring a soul-soothing moment of union, where a valiant soldier returns to his waiting wife after serving at the borders. The lyrics go by, against this evocative backdrop—Tum Chand Dekh Lena, Tumhe Hum Nazar Aayenge. “Celebrate the magic of Eid with Chand Dekh Lena! A song filled with romance, moonlight, and the warmth of togetherness from Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace! This Eid, let this melody bring love, memories, and a little more light into the celebration!”—as the statement reads.
The song is composed by the renowned Himesh Reshammiya. The song features heartfelt vocals by Nihal Tauro and Ankona Mukherjee, with evocative lyrics penned by Sameer Anjaan. The musical arrangement, crafted by Meghdeep Bose, beautifully blends instruments including the guitar by Deepak Sinha, the violin by Jitendra Javda, the sitar by Sweekar Sunil Katti, and the flute by Lokesh Dadhich, creating a rich and immersive soundscape. Choreographed under the guidance of Vaibhavi Merchant, the song’s production and mixing were handled by Salman Shaikh and his team at Himesh Reshammiya Melodies Studio, with additional support from a talented crew of musicians and engineers. Together, they have brought to life a moving musical experience that resonates deeply with listeners.
