On August 13, Ridhi shared a post on her social media with a powerful warning, including a screenshot of a post that asks, “Why Has Ridhi Dogra Struggled To Establish Herself In Bollywood?” Reacting to this, the actress hit back with powerful words, saying, “Hahahahahaa I haven’t ‘struggled with anything’; I choose what and how I want my career to be. Everything moves according to my ease and comfort. Films never were and will never be the be-all and end-all of my creative existence.”
She further sarcastically asked to stop bullying her and the crap talk, “And my final boss, that is my god. So don’t bother bullying me. My identity is above all this crap talk.” Ridhi also called out the discrimination, “God bless you and the box you want to try putting me in.”
Subtly calling out the media house, Ridhi revealed the identity and questioned their interest in her career, “@bollywoodbubbletelly, I wonder why the sudden interest in pulling me down, or is it something you ‘Had’ to do? My career is going just fine. But grateful for your sudden worry for me.”
Speaking on her wanting to do films, the actress reacted, “I’ve said it a zillion times before. Let me tell you since you’re so concerned – I never wanted to do films to begin with. I get projects and people who ‘wanted’ to work with me. Those projects can be in any medium. And every project I’ve done I’m bloody proud of. They gave me scope to blower for and deliver.”
Rejecting their baseless news and refusing to take the bullying, Ridhi said, “I’m an Actor. And I will do as I like. Not dying for the films you think I am late for. I’m late for NOTHING. WHAT IS LATE – is your primitive thinking. Nice attempt to bully another actor with no supprt or godfather. But you can’t bully me.”
