The Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu and Jitendra Kumar starrer ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ continues to perform well at the box office in the first week. Despite noticing a slight 2.5 percent drop, the action thriller aims to surpass the ₹150 crore net India mark next.
According to Sacnilk data, the Gurmmeet Singh-directed film collected ₹15.60 crore net across 10686 shows, with 44.7 percent occupancy in theatres. In contrast, the film saw a rise in overseas markets, collecting ₹3.50 crore gross.
Language-wise Breakdown (Day 5)
The film, based on the hit Prime Video series Mirzapur, collected the most in the Hindi belt, earning ₹15.50 crore across 10,547 shows with 45 percent occupancy, while in the Telugu belt it earned ₹0.10 crore across 139 shows with 20 percent occupancy.
