The Malayalam version of Drishyam 3 is all set to hit the theatres on April 2nd. The film shall star Mohanlal in the lead role. The date announcement comes after the makers announced that the film’s shooting had been completed. Jeethu revealed the details at the hospital’s inauguration.

Director Jeethu Joseph said, addressing the audience, “Drishyam is a film that has influenced a lot of people over the years. It carries a huge weight of expectations within itself, and I ask everyone to watch it without any big expectations. The film will be available to watch in theatres in the first week of April. The official release announcement will be made soon. Additionally, on January 30, my other film, Valathu Vashathe Kallan, is releasing. I am confident it will be a good movie.”

In Drishyam 3, the cast brings back the main heroes, with Mohanlal reprising the iconic role of Georgekutty. The very clever and adaptable man has been the central figure in the series. Alongside Mohanlal, the film will feature Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Murali Gopi, and others reprising their roles.

Important criminals and other actors from the previous parts, like Asha Sharath and Siddique, will also be back, which will probably bring the high-tension battle between the law and Georgekutty’s secrets to life again. The exact new cast members are still not being revealed as part of the film’s mystery, but it is hoped the story will show more of the family’s struggles, both mental and social, as they try to deal with the long-lasting effects of their past.
