On Thursday, 23 October, Nia shared a post from an official news page that reveals the new alimony law, where a working wife cannot demand alimony. The post reads, “NEW ALIMONY RULE!
FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT WIFE CANNOT DEMAND ALIMONY, ALIMONY IS GIVEN FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE IT’S NOT
A TOOL FOR ENRICHMENT.”
Sharing this post, Nia penned her opinion that after the new alimony law, divorces are likely to drop in a massive amount, saying that finally, men will get a chance to live with dignity. She said, “The Fake DV cases in India might just drop by leaps and bounds now giving men a fair Chance to lead a life of dignity that they deserve.”
Further, Nia sarcastically said, “Earning money is easy… just find work. Not men.”
