Has been receiving mixed reviews, as far as I could scroll my eyes through. Nevertheless, the mischief won the moment, as I watched it, and the third instalment got its hot seat. A decade later, we see the original Four Horsemen once again, featuring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and Isla Fisher. But the third instalment adds more to the team, and you realise the franchise might just be shifting a generation.
At its centre, the narrative builds on a mission—to seize a priceless diamond from Veronika Vanderberg, synonymous with corruption —and to expose the syndicate she runs. And the illusion begins right there, and you taste the illusions once again, with the horsemen in charge.
However, the scripting turned out to be a bit wishy-washy. The escalation looked quicker, and almost hurried down the way. The third instalment had more substance, with intricate subplots and new hires, but that kick went missing. The kick that the earlier held us in and out. So it was made with the intention to keep it a safe watch for the crowd.
Watch it if you are a franchise fan. Definitely worth it that way!
