Nuremberg Day 16 Box Office Collection: Minor Weekend Lift, But Numbers Stay Negligible
On Day 16 (third Saturday), Nuremberg saw a faint weekend push, the kind typically observed even in low-performing films. Still, the uptick was minimal, amounting to what trade sources classify as negligible earnings, similar to the last several days.
Occupancy in the few remaining shows hovered around 3–5%, slightly better than Friday but nowhere near enough to register a meaningful number. Most multiplexes have continued with isolated screenings—often one or two shows per day—largely in metro clusters where a small cinephile audience still trickles in.
Cities such as Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Chennai account for almost the entire Day-16 contribution. The film’s presence outside these metros has virtually vanished, with many theatres dropping it entirely after Week 2
.
By this stage, the film has already exhausted the audience segment that sought it out for its genre—history enthusiasts, festival followers, and viewers drawn to courtroom or political narratives. With that niche fulfilled, Week 3 has been largely static.
International Performance Still Outshines India
Nuremberg continues to fare considerably better overseas.
This contrast between domestic and overseas numbers underscores the film’s appeal to viewers more attuned to historical and political cinema, an audience far smaller in India’s theatrical space.
Approaching the Final Days of Its India Run
Day 16 reaffirms that Nuremberg is nearing the end of its theatrical life in India. With new releases pushing it out of the schedule and little to no mass-market pull, the remaining screenings serve more as a means of fulfilling commitments than as active commercial exploitation.
Despite its limited box-office impact, the film has been recognized for its craft, performances, and atmospheric approach to historical storytelling. As with many prestige dramas, the film is expected to find a more receptive viewership once it lands on OTT.
For now, Day 16 extends the film’s quiet, near-invisible third-week drift, inching toward a natural close as the theatrical chapter winds down.
