Indians are known to take offense in anything and everything. More often than not, films or creative people are at times held as soft targets for such issues and once again, it’s a film that’s under the scanner and amidst controversy. We had earlier heard about how a massive group of people from Rajasthan were against Panipat and were in for a ban of the movie because of its apparent portrayal of Bharatpur.

Earlier if it was just about common people, now certain politicians have apparently joined the controversy and further made the situation ‘political’. Cabinet Minister and BJP MLA Vishvendra Singh who happens to be a descendant of Jat ruler Maharaja Surajmal has called out for a ban and will also be seen with protesters in Bharatpur soon.

Well, the situation is really hot and all we can hope is that there’s an amicable ending to the controversy. For more such updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
