A shocking incident has taken place on the sets of SJ Suryah’s upcoming film Killer. Reportedly, in the tragic incident, a 26-year-old crew member died while three other members were injured. The reports suggest that the incident happened at the Binny Mills in Perambur, Chennai, on Tuesday, June 2, in the morning.

The tragic incident took place during a shoot of a bomb-blast sequence. The horrific incident happened at 5 in the morning when a gas cylinder being used for the big sequence exploded, which led to the death of a crew member named Madan.

As soon as the incident took place, the police officers and rescue personnel reached the scene for the rescue mission. Reportedly, the police have registered a case and are investigating the matter deeply.

In contrast, the reports suggest that Madan, the crew member, was rescued suffering from severe injuries, after which he was taken to the hospital, but he succumbed to death during treatment. While the other three, namely Dhinakaran, Surya and Sakthivel, were also injured, they are now undergoing treatment, and their conditions are being closely monitored at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai.

Police are investigating the matter of whether proper safety protocols were taken or not, or if there was a technical malfunction.
