Well-known actress Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao recently welcomed their first child, their daughter, in November last year. The couple not only welcomed the biggest happiness in their personal life, but also professionally, they ventured into producing. Their produced film Toaster starring Rajkummar Rao and Saniya Malhotra released a couple of days ago, and it is streaming on Netflix at number 1 right now. Ahead of the release, Patralekhaa and Rajkummar attended the screening of Toaster, where the couple was spotted in town.
However, Patralekhaa skipped to pose for the paps while Rajkummar greeted the paps and posed for the photos too. Following this, Patralekhaa’s videos were shared on social media, with remarks that body-shamed her. Not taking any longer time, on April 17, the actress took to her social media, calling out this behavior with her strong statement.
Patralekhaa called out paps pages for commenting on her weight gain, highlighting that this is how her body reacted to pregnancy, with a sarcastic note saying she hasn’t eaten a mountain.
Her note states, “Pap pages!
What’s happened to me!?
is that I have just given birth!
Yes I have gained the weight, which seems like an unnatural phenomenon to you all. I have not sat and eaten a mountain, I just delivered a baby and produced two films simultaneously which are not easy jobs.”
Patralekhaa further added, “If I could I would not be this way. But that’s how my body has reacted to pregnancy.
For God’s sake please learn to be a little kind.”
