Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan is directing the director these days. Post his decision to return to cinema after establishing his reputation in politics; he has taken on three film projects. All three are on the floors and Pawan is leaving no stone unturned to ensure their success.
Says a source, “He is giving his best shot to every shot. He has charged through the roof—reportedly a whopping Rs 45 crores per film—and wants the producers to make back their investment. Pawan is virtually directing the three films himself. Not a single shot is okayed without his consent.”
While the shooting continues for Pawan Kalyan’s project directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film is yet to get a leading lady.
Informs a source from the project, “Pawan Sir wants a Bollywood actress to be paired with him. They’ve approached a couple of glamorous Bollywood girls. But they are not willing to pay them what they’re asking for. The heroine has relatively nothing to do in Krish’s film. But Pawan Sir decides what goes and what doesn’t. He is adamant on getting a Bollywood actress, no matter what the cost.”
