Peddi Box Office Collection Day 9: Starring Ram Charan in the lead role, the action film has now become the number 1 grosser in South India, with the worldwide gross nearing a whopping 400 crore in just 9 days of release. With the film maintaining stable momentum over the first week, it indicates a positive trend.
The film opened on a good note with a whopping worldwide gross of 135.36 crore on its first day (First Thursday). And the film then saw fluctuations in collection but managed to bring in a decent amount throughout. In its seven days total the film grossed 345 crore worldwide.
On day 2, the film collected an impressive 46.44 crore, while day 3 and day 4 (first weekend Saturday & Sunday) earned 54.9 crore and 55.8 crore, respectively. The first Monday (day 5) collected an impressive 22.5 crore, day 6 earned 17.1 crore, and day 7 earned 12.9 crore. And with day 8 and day 9 collections, the film’s total brought 21 crore worldwide, taking the worldwide gross to 366 in 9 days.
The sports drama, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, generated enough buzz. However, the film is winning hearts for its emotional appeal and engaging sports drama. Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under his banner Vriddhi Cinemas and directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
