Equinox Films has finally dropped the official trailer for Police, and it gives the right amount of action that one can expect from the film, given the title. It brings back Tollywood’s beloved Tota Roy Choudhary in action, and this time he plays the supercop.
Directed by Raja Chanda, the film features Tota Roy Choudhury in the lead role. It also features Ramakant Singh and Paean Sarkar in pivotal roles. The trailer tells us that the film will be a single show that one can enjoy.
Tota is the fierce cop. We see him in full-fledged action, who is on the hunt to find the mastermind behind a series of murders. He doesn’t follow any protocol or any system. He believes in the “beauty of duty” protocol, nothing more, nothing less.
We see Paean Sarkar portraying the devoted wife. She adds a moment of tenderness and warmth to a world surrounded by vicious chaos.
The trailer righteously showcases tensions surrounding the town. We see violence rising, we see protests, and we see manipulations that occur within the lineage of power mongering. Very raw and very brutal, the trailer warns you that the film doesn’t rely on the glam factor at all.
The screenplay and dialogue are penned by Arnab Bhawmik, with a gluey eye panning, headed by Soumyadipta Guin. Produced by Prarthana Movies and Equinox Films, all we can say is that Police will be a must-watch.
