Finally, the wait is over; renowned producer Dishaa Jhaa has shared the exciting news for fans—the hit series Aashram 4, titled Ek Badnaam… Aashram has officially started filming under the direction of Prakash Jha (father of the producer).
On August 22, 2026, Dishaa shared a glimpse from the set, showcasing the Muhurat puja with photos of God, prashad, and garlands offered with the action board. Sharing the visual, in the caption she wrote, “And it begins… First clap of Aashram 4. Let the journey begin.”
As soon as the update was shared, the news sparked excitement among fans, especially for actor Bobby Deol, who is all set to return as the main character, Baba Nirala, in the fourth installment. The upcoming season will continue the crime drama on MX Player, following the events of previous seasons.
Aashram was first released on August 28, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Season 2 (Chapter 2 – The Dark Side) was released on November 11 the same year. Part 1 of Season 3 was then released on June 3, 2022, after a two-year gap, and Part 2 of Season 3 arrived on February 27, 2025, after 3 years gap. Now the fourth season shooting has begun, and it may arrive soon.
Alongside Bobby Deol, other returning cast members include Aaditi Pohankar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Darshan Kumaar. The show is produced by Prakash Jha Productions, which is executive-produced and managed by Dishaa Jha.
