After a modest start, the collections have shown consistent growth, especially on Saturday and Sunday, indicating positive word of mouth and rising audience interest.

According to Sacnilk, on Day 4 (first Sunday), Project Hail Mary collected ₹4.90 crore net across 1,634 shows in India. This marks the film’s highest single-day collection so far and reflects a solid weekend surge.

The film opened on Day 1 (Thursday) with ₹2.25 crore, followed by a rise on Day 2 (Friday), earning ₹2.90 crore. The upward trend became more evident on Day 3 (Saturday), when the film collected ₹4.60 crore. Continuing the momentum, Day 4 saw collections climb further to ₹4.90 crore, closing the weekend on a strong note.

With this, the total India net collection of *Project Hail Mary* now stands at ₹14.65 crore, while the gross collection has reached ₹17.56 crore. The steady growth over the weekend suggests that the film is gradually finding its audience.

The increase in footfall over the weekend is a positive sign for the makers, as it indicates improving occupancy and stronger traction than on opening day. If the film holds well during the week, it could maintain a stable run at the box office.
