After dominating the box office for days and emerging as one of the biggest blockbusters of all time, Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar has now begun its new journey with its release on the OTT platform Netflix starting today. Released in theatres on December 5, 2025, the spy action film premiered on the streaming platform Netflix on Friday, January 30, at midnight, allowing it to reach a larger audience and open new doors.
And the film Dhurandhar, which was released only in Hindi, has been released in two more languages, Tamil and Telugu, on Netflix, allowing different linguistic audiences to enjoy it and expand its reach.
As Dhurandhar takes a new step, director Aditya Dhar expressed his feelings, reflecting on the film’s massive success at the box office. He said in a conversation with NDTV, “The theatrical response to Dhurandhar was deeply humbling, especially witnessing audiences connect with its story, characters, and scale. With its Netflix release, the film begins a new chapter. Reaching farther, inviting new viewers to discover its layers and revisit its moments in their own time.”

It will be interesting to see the viewers’ response on Netflix, as it was much anticipated.
Dhurandhar has become one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time, with its collection recently crossing 1600, and it is still collecting. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
