Veteran actor Raza Murad has raised questions over the absence of some prominent Bollywood personalities from the funeral of late actor Mushtaq Khan. Murad shared videos on Instagram from the last rites and expressed his disappointment that no major Bollywood star was seen attending to pay their final respects to the veteran actor.
In his videos, Raza Murad spoke about Mushtaq Khan’s contribution to the Hindi film industry and questioned whether those who had worked with him could not make time to attend his funeral. Without taking any particular celebrity’s name, he pointed out that there was a noticeable absence of big Bollywood faces at the last rites.
Mushtaq Khan passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 56. Known for his memorable supporting and comic roles, the actor had been part of several popular Hindi films throughout his career. His work in movies such as Welcome, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke made him a familiar face among audiences.
While Raza Murad expressed his disappointment about the absence of bigger names, several actors and members of the film fraternity did attend Mushtaq Khan’s funeral and stood by his family during the final farewell.
