“Arun Bali had fairly good innings as an actor,particularly in TV soap operas.He had a good screen presence,which made him bankable as elderly characters,like a head of the joint family with strong characterisation.He always played a traditional guiding and a protective force for his family,consisting his sons,daughters,bahus,jamaais and young grandchildren.His all characters were very respectful and dignified.He was always looked upon as an honest and wise elderly person on the small screen.”
“I had acted with him in Dheeraj Kumar’s Sansaar,wherein we played rivals.Although we were not close friends,I shared a good rapport with him as a co actor.We were also the elected executive members of CINTAA ,our actor’s association for many years.Mr Bali was very sincere and active in all the affairs of our association.he would individually call the defaulting members to clear their pending annual subscription in his personal capacity,which did wonders for the much needed funds for our association.He was a soft spoken person, but very firm in this thoughts to look after the interests of our association.sometimes he was brutally blunt and forthright towards the erring members and never hesitated to reprimand them in strong words in our office meetings.”
